Directors Appointment Process

The responsibility of electing Directors is given back to the shareholders of each of the eight business groups.

Each business group hold meetings, organized by its own elected executives and run its own affairs. One of these meetings is held to elect their own directors to represent them at the Board of Faiwol Investors Limited.

When the term of the directors expires, the directors retire to their respective business groups to seek re-election. The term is usually four years in which all the directors serve together. In the event that a director exits prematurely, the predecessor only serves the remainder of the term and retire together with other directors and seek re-election for a new four-year term.

New Directors are sworn in at the AGM of the new term year. So in effect each of the eight business groups are responsible for electing their own director to represent their interest on the Board of Faiwol Investors Limited.
